Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

The rising star maintains impressive social media audience

Kai Trump will have multiple well-known supporters as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple international courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments this year and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

However she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a superior human being. He advised me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."

Kai will face some of the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, including world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, particularly with younger fans.

The social media influencer has substantial online presence and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle brand.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
