Plane Transporting US Defense Secretary Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window
A plane transporting the US defense secretary was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the plane's windshield, per an official announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane touched down following standard protocol and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is secure," an official representative commented in a online announcement.
Hegseth was returning from a short visit to Brussels when the incident occurred.
This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a American defense plane ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered technical problems.
Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after suffering a technical issue.
