The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Supporters worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
